Acorn Health Temporarily Relocates Grandville Center

CORAL GABLES, Fla., April 10, 2024 — Acorn Health, an accredited national provider of applied behavior analysis therapy, has taken swift action to temporarily relocate its center in Grandville, Michigan following recent water damage.

For the next nine months, the Grandville center will operate at 3349 Century Center St., SW. This temporary change in location is in response to flooding from a burst water pipe that occurred at the original Grandville center earlier this year.

“I’m happy to announce Acorn Health has a temporary center in Grandville ready to treat clients only five minutes from our original center,” said Chelsea Montgomery, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, clinical director for Acorn Health at Grandville. “I’m so thankful to our colleagues in Grand Rapids for hosting our team and our clients in their locations while we secured a temporary therapy space.”

Families of the Grandville center have experienced minimal disruptions in services during this transition period.

The challenges posed by the flood were immense, but the solidarity displayed by our neighboring centers and the relentless effort by our team members to secure a suitable temporary space have been inspiring,” Montgomery added. “I’m so proud of the way everyone has exemplified Acorn’s Health’s core values of teamwork and hustle in this situation.”  Acorn Health anticipates having the original Grandville center at 42 44th St. SW refurbished and reopened before spring 2025.
