Stephanie Marshall Named Next President of the Tennessee Association for Behavioral Analysis

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Jan., 4, 2024 — Acorn Health, a leading national provider of applied behavior analysis for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, is proud to announce Stephanie Marshall, M.A., BCBA, LBA, clinical director in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is the president-elect of the Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis.

“Words cannot express my gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the next president-elect,” said Marshall. “Since becoming a member of the Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis, I have a better understanding of the challenges that families face when trying to access services. I’m thankful that in this new role, I’ll be able to continue advocating for faster service delivery, as well as the removal of barriers to consistent services.”

The Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis is a professional organization for board certified behavior analysts who are committed to advancing the industry as well as increasing awareness and access to behavior analysis therapy services in Tennessee. Marshall will serve the association in a leadership role for the next three years — as president-elect in 2024, president in 2025 and then past-president in 2026. She previously served as the middle Tennessee representative and the co-chair of the social media committee.

“ABA is such a young field,” Marshall added. “I hope to be able to break down the hurdles in collaboration across clinicians within the ABA field and throughout the continuum of care, as we all are focused on serving our clients.”

Marshall is an experienced behavioral analysist who began working in ABA as a registered behavior technician in 2011 and has been a BCBA for the past five years. She has been with Acorn Health since 2022.
