CORAL GABLES, Fla., Aug. 10, 2023 — Acorn Health, a national provider of applied behavior analysis for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, relocated its center in Saginaw, Michigan in June. The new location – at 4620 State St. – offers a more ideal setting for ABA therapy than the previous site and is more conveniently situated in the heart of Saginaw.
“In this new space, we have designated treatment rooms that allow us to provide more appropriate areas for early intervention and school-aged children,” says Alicia Swider, MA, BCBA, LBA, clinical director of the Saginaw location. “We also added a gross motor room — a space for physical activities that may be part of a child’s therapy plan — in the new building. Our previous center was all one space, but now we have designated spots for treatment, play and group time.”
At the new Saginaw center, Acorn Health has capacity to expand services and serve additional clients moving forward. The relocation has not disrupted services for current clients.
