CORAL GABLES, Fla., July 11, 2023 — Acorn Health, a national provider of applied behavior analysis therapy for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, relocated its center in Cookeville, Tennessee in May. The new location – at 206 S. Jefferson Ave. – is 1,300 square feet larger than the previous site.
“I’m excited to now have designated rooms for the programs and skills we teach, like the social skills room,” says Kelti Owens, MS, BCBA, MI-LBA, regional director of operations for the state of Tennessee. “Our new expanded size is beneficial for the children we serve. Additionally, the space is better designed for family guidance and client assessments.”
This new center is already fully staffed and has space to increase the number of clients served by nearly 32% expanding access to care in this community. The relocation has not disrupted services for current clients.
