Acorn Health’s East Orange, Florida Center Relocated

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Oct. 5, 2023 — Acorn Health, a national provider of applied behavior analysis for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, relocated one of its centers in Orlando, Florida in September.

The new East Orange clinic – at 2000 N. Alafaya Trail, Suite 200 – offers a more expansive location with additional therapy delivery rooms to better serve clients and increase access to care. Service to current clients continued without disruption during the relocation.

“The new space is almost twice the size of our previous space and features two sensory gyms and a small group room,” says Megan Angulo, MS, BCBA, clinical director of the East Orange location. “Our small group space will be used for school readiness and social skill programs. We also created a quiet sensory space for clients to use when they need time to regroup.”

At the new East Orange center, Acorn Health has capacity to hire more ABA professionals to expand services and serve additional clients moving forward. Acorn Healthy typically serves children with autism diagnosis from 18 months through 21 years of age.

Community partners are invited to attend an open house at the new East Orange center from 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 26. Tours of the facility will be available and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place alongside members of the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce. Registration is appreciated, but not required.
