CORAL GABLES, Fla., April 3, 2024 — Acorn Health, a national and accredited provider of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, is coming to the Madison Heights community to serve children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This new location is slated to open early this summer and clinicians will be able to provide in-home services to clients in the area as early as May. Madison Heights will mark Acorn Health’s fifth location in the greater Detroit area and the 21st location in the state of Michigan.
”I’m excited to announce during Autism Awareness, Acceptance and Advocacy Month, Acorn Health is able to expand access to high-quality ABA in services with the opening of a new clinic in Madison Heights,” said Emily Besecker, M.S., BCBA, MI-LBA, Acorn Health’s regional director of operations in Michigan. “There is a high demand for ABA services in Macomb, Wayne and Oakland counties, and our new center will be in a convenient location that serves all three, allowing us to help additional families and increase timely access to services.”
The Madison Heights location is actively recruiting clinical staff and intaking new clients to start services once the center is open this summer. To view open roles and to apply, visit acornealth.com/careers.
Enrolling with Acorn Health as a new client is a straightforward process, but given the demand for ABA therapy services, individual assessments, and clinical capacity, taking enrollment action as soon as possible is recommended.
