CORAL GABLES, Fla., March 5, 2024 — Acorn Health, a national network of accredited applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy centers, is excited to expand services in Tennessee with the opening of a new center in Knoxville located at 6312 Kingston Pike, Suite B.
“This new location provides several therapy rooms and flex spaces,” says Ashlee McBride, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, clinical director for Acorn Health at Knoxville. “Our clinical team collaborated to create enriched spaces that will foster peer interactions and accommodate various interests and needs of each of our individual clients. In addition to the standard play, lunch, and movement rooms, there are also separate spaces for sensory, electives, and games.”
Already serving families in the greater Nashville and Chattanooga areas, Knoxville is Acorn’s first center in eastern Tennessee, and the ninth center in the state. An open house is scheduled for Thursday, March 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. Those attending the open house are asked to register at bit.ly/Knoxville_OH.
“Opening the clinic doors means being able to grant access to care to individuals in the Knoxville community,” adds McBride. “I am looking forward to the halls and walls being filled with laughter and positive interactions between staff, clients and their families.
