CORAL GABLES, Fla., July 17, 2024 — Acorn Health’s Chief Clinical Officer Krista Boe, M.A., BCBA, LBA, joined Behavioral Health Business in Chicago at its inaugural Autism & Addiction Treatment Forum on July 18 as a panelist.
Boe, along with representatives from DLA Piper and LEARN Behavioral, presented on government and regulatory affairs, as well as advocacy in autism during the 11:30 a.m. breakout session.
Boe is Acorn Health’s chief clinical officer and has been a practicing BCBA since 2008. She has special interests in autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities and organizational behavior management. Earlier this year, Boe was named to the Top 50 Women Leaders of Michigan list, recognized for her leadership role within Acorn Health and her work on the Michigan Autism Council. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Western Michigan University.
The Autism and Addiction Forum, an event hosted by Behavioral Health Business, took place in Chicago on July 18. This one-day event focused on two specific areas of behavioral health: patients who have autism and patients battling addiction.
